PURPOSE:

Build high successful construction projects for our clients, employees, and communities.

The Foreman leads the crew, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and cost, working closely with the Superintendent and project team. Outside of work explore the nearby rugged outdoors throughout Southeast Alaska.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

1. Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in construction work.
2. Knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions
3. Attention to detail
4. Manual dexterity
5. Math skills; basic math is used everyday
6. Problem-solving skills
7. Ability to work independently, complete daily activities according to work schedule, and meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
8. Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs., walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
9. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, as well as understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
10. Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
11. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
